transformation can mean many different things to everyone. this piece honestly doesn’t have any deep meaning of transformation –at least i would like to keep it that way since it can become extremely morbid very quickly. the idea came to me when scrolling pinterest and i kept seeing images of people’s eyeballs in the place of lollipops. i really liked the idea but wanted to do something different so i decided to photoshop an eye into someone’s mouth. many think the meaning gets very gross and creepy when i say that it is my mom’s eye inside my dad’s mouth – but in all honestly, my mom has a much prettier eye color than my dad. this was a mini project/assignment that i completed in the spring of 2023 for my photo 3 class at school. we had to show transformation in one way or another — literally of figuratively. whether or not i was able to achieve it is questionable but it is undeniably super freaky and cool.
